JAY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

I began teaching for my church in 1992 at Big Valley Grace Community Church in Modesto Ca under Pastor David Siefert. After earning my BA I was hired to teach the GED to adult students through the Office of Education from 2007 to 2013. It was an extremely rewarding experience.

In 2016 I was hired by Dr. Charlene Mah who is currently an administrator for Stocton Unified School District in Central California, I did much of my work as a classroom teacher under her.

Doug and I moved to Oklahoma just 2 years ago and are college sweet hearts he works for Cherokee Nation and he and I are both Native American.  My father’s mother was Peoria and Quapaw. My grown son is one of my bestfriends he is studying sociology at Northeast Oklahoma A and M in Miami Oklahoma.  My cat Milo is a one year old Tabby and is a very affectionate year old fur baby.

My hobbies are spending time with family, frequenting outdoor creeks, and bird watching, in addition to floating rivers and creeks.  I enjoy going to the movies and cooking Sunday meals.  Smithsonian Channel along with History channel is my favorite to watch when I am home.
